Will Bennett decides to bike to the hike! - 12th July 2011

Will Bennett has entered our WASA Challenge this summer which will see him carry the weight of a child in our boarding houses to the top of Ben Nevis. The other participants will catch a train, hop on a plane or drive to the foot of Ben Nevis but not the man they call Gi-Gi... He will set off a week before everyone else, just him, a tent and his (t)rusty bike. Starting from his home south of Manchester he'll head north on a week long challenge he has undertaken in order to raise money for Amantani. In fact, Will's challenge has already begun. He is intent on raising funds and will really kick things off on Saturday 16th July when he will partner with the Millets store in Leicester to run an exciting competition in which the lucky winner can go home with a tent. Throughout the day, he will position himself outside the Millets store on Granby Street with a tent filled with balloons. All you have to do is correctly guess how many balloons are in the tent and it is yours! So if anyone is in Leicester please come down to the Millets Store and help support the team of volunteers there...
