The Three Peaks Challenge - 23rd July 2009

Despite some setbacks, including a puncture to one of the cars, one driver being stopped and breathalysed by the police, another losing his glasses, some heavy traffic and some even heavier rain on Scafell Pike (which actually forced some other groups to turn back), we all completed the 3 Peaks successfully.

Thank you so much to all the walkers, for both your efforts on the mountains as well as your fundraising off them. However I think we all agree that the real heroes of trip were the drivers. Although to call them drivers is to wrongly define them, they were cooks, cleaners, organizers, mechanics and motivators, and a few of them even popped up and down Snowdon at the end just to put us all to shame!
